About QuickConvert

QuickConvert is a free, privacy-first tool for converting image files right in your browser.

We started QuickConvert with one idea: converting a file shouldn't mean handing it to a stranger's server. Most online converters upload your images, process them somewhere you can't see, and keep copies for who-knows-how-long. We do the opposite — everything happens locally on your device.

How it works

When you drop an image into the converter, your browser reads it, redraws it onto a canvas, and re-encodes it in the format you pick. The result is offered back to you as a download. No file is ever sent over the network.
